This policy covers cshel.co.uk, operated by Cal Shelton. If you fill in the free audit form, register for the workshop, book a call, reply to an email from me, message the cshel Facebook page, or otherwise get in touch, this explains what's collected and why.
If you submit the free audit form: your name, email, business name, website, approximate ad spend, and (optionally) your Google Ads Customer ID.
If you book a paid setup call: the same details plus payment information, handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We don't store card details ourselves.
General site visitors: standard analytics data (pages viewed, general location, device type) via the tools listed below.
I sometimes email businesses that are currently advertising on Google, to invite them to a free workshop on running Google Ads in-house.
If you register for the workshop (on this site or through Eventbrite), I keep your name, email, how you found the workshop, and whether you attended (from Google Meet). It's used to send your invite, reminders and a follow-up, and is stored in Google Workspace. Eventbrite bookings are also held by Eventbrite under their own privacy policy.
Some emails and messages about the workshop are written with the help of an AI assistant I use to coordinate bookings. I read the conversations and run the workshop myself. No decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made automatically.
This site uses:
You can block these using your browser's cookie settings or an ad blocker without affecting your ability to use the site.
Audit form data is used to review your Google Ads account and follow up with you directly, never sold, never used for anything beyond delivering what you asked for and reasonable follow-up about it. Tracking data is used to measure which marketing is working and, where applicable, to show relevant ads to past visitors.
Google and Meta receive the tracking data described above, under their own respective privacy policies, for ad measurement and (Meta only) retargeting. Stripe processes payment data for paid bookings. No data is sold to third parties.
To run the workshop and its emails I also use these service providers, who process data only on my instructions: ReachInbox and Zoho (email sending), Hetzner (server hosting in the EU), Chatwoot (a messaging inbox hosted on that server), Anthropic (the AI model that helps draft messages), DataForSEO (business listings and public ad data), Companies House (company checks), Eventbrite (event bookings) and Google (Workspace, Sheets and Meet). Where a provider is outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are used for the transfer.
Audit and enquiry data is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain business records, then deleted. You can ask for it to be deleted sooner at any time.
You can ask to see what's held about you, ask for corrections, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time, just email below. You can also object to being contacted at any time, and I'll stop immediately.
